Elkhorn's last matchup with St. Joseph could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Friday. The Elks lost 11-1 to the Lancers. The Elks' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Elkhorn saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carson Lysaght, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run and one double.

Elkhorn's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7. As for St. Joseph, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Elkhorn will head out to face off against Kenosha Tremper at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for St. Joseph, they will square off against Slinger at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
