Basketball Recap: Princeton Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Princeton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost to the Chester Volcanoes on the road by a 49-31 margin. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 39-14 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Princeton's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-5. As for Chester, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Princeton won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Elk Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Elk Creek's defense has only allowed 26.8 points per game this season, so Princeton's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Chester, they will square off against Dunsmuir at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
