Basketball Recap: Sonia Clayton's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Davis Sr. over Inderkum + How To Watch

Davis Sr. lost against Inderkum back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Blue Devils fell 49-43 to the Tigers. While the Blue Devils didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Tigers 21-14 in the first quarter.

Several Blue Devils players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Sonia Clayton, who shot 64% from the field en route to 16 points. Thanks to that strong game, Clayton now owns an excellent 45.7% shooting accuracy. Lorelei Nachman was another key player, dropping a double-double with ten points and 11 assists.

Inderkum found their leader in sophomore Aniyah Bruhn, who posted 22 points and five rebounds. Those 22 points set a new season-high mark for Bruhn. Another player making a difference was Tremiyah Lawrence, who had 15 points and four steals.

Davis Sr.'s loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Inderkum, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Davis Sr. didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 54-43 defeat against McClatchy on the 11th. As for Inderkum, they will be playing at home against Del Oro at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
