Whitewater had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured an 11-10 W against the Spalding Jaguars. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wildcats also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Whitewater's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Spalding, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Whitewater will take on rival Sandy Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Spalding is set to square off against their familiar foe LaGrange at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
