Recap: Ontario Christian Knights vs. Rancho Christian Eagles        
        
		
            
 The Ontario Christian Knights entered their tilt with the Rancho Christian Eagles with seven consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with eight. Ontario Christian breezed by Rancho Christian at home  to the tune of  87-50. Ontario Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven  contests by 37  points or more this season.
 Ontario Christian found their leader in underclassman  Kaleena Smith, who  scored 37 points along with eight  assists and seven  steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which  Smith has scored at least a third of Ontario Christian's points. Another player making a difference was  Amanda Ajobiewe, who  scored 12 points.
 Rancho Christian lost  on Thursday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Julia Wilson, who  scored 20 points along with six  rebounds.  Hailey Whitman was another key contributor,  dropping  a double-double on 12 points and 15  rebounds.
 Even though they lost, Rancho Christian  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 18  offensive rebounds. That's the most  offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
 Ontario Christian pushed their record up to 15-3 with that  victory, which was their third straight  at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 97.7 points per game. As for Rancho Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ontario Christian won't have much time to rest: their next  match is against Linfield Christian at 6:00  p.m.  on January 12th. Linfield Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 823rd, while Ontario Christian is ranked tenth). Rancho Christian won't have much time to rest: their next  game is against Paloma Valley at 3:45  p.m.  on January 12th. Paloma Valley is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 51  points per game.
