Basketball Game Preview: Perkiomen School Panthers vs. Germantown Friends

Perkiomen School hasn't had much luck against Germantown Friends recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Perkiomen School Panthers will challenge Germantown Friends at 5:00 p.m. Perkiomen School knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Germantown Friends likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, Perkiomen School didn't have too much trouble with Hill School as they won 58-42. The win was all the more spectacular given the Panthers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 183rd, while the Rams are ranked 22nd).

Meanwhile, Germantown Friends was not able to break out of their rough patch last Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 50-39 to Shipley.

Perkiomen School's victory bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Germantown Friends, their loss dropped their record down to 16-5.

Perkiomen School came up short against Germantown Friends in their previous matchup back in January of 2019, falling 33-28. Can Perkiomen School avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
