Soccer Recap: Lincoln Takes a Loss

If Lincoln was feeling good fresh off their 9-0 takedown of Independence last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lincoln Lions fell just short of the Willow Glen Rams by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in January.

Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Willow Glen, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 10-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Lincoln nor Willow Glen have any future games scheduled.
