Softball Recap: Deerfield-Windsor Knights vs. Tiftarea Academy Panthers

Deerfield-Windsor had lost four straight at home, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 5-13 to make it five. They lost 13-0 to the Tiftarea Academy Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-6 back in September.

Owens has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. That stolen base was her first of the season.
