Soccer Recap: North Clayton Comes Up Short

North Clayton lost against Mt. Zion back in March of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The North Clayton Eagles lost 6-0 to the Mt. Zion Bulldogs. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Clayton's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Mt. Zion, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Looking ahead, North Clayton will face off against Stephenson at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Stephenson's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Mt. Zion, they will challenge Riverdale at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give Mt. Zion their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
