Softball Recap: Dewey's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

If Dewey was riding high fresh off their 7-0 takedown of Putnam City North on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldoggers fell just short of the Claremore Zebras by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. The match marked the Bulldoggers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Dewey fell to 4-1. As for Claremore, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dewey will square off against Sequoyah at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Claremore, they will face off against Booker T. Washington at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
