Softball Recap: Bryan County Drops Season-High Score on Mcintosh County Academy

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bryan County). They never let the McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers get on the board and left with a 21-0 victory on Tuesday. The Redskins might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by 11 runs or more this season.

The win (which was Bryan County's fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-5. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for McIntosh County Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bryan County will welcome Portal at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for McIntosh County Academy, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against First Preparatory Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m.
