Softball Game Preview: Johns Creek Gladiators vs. Chattahoochee Cougars

Johns Creek is 1-9 against Chattahoochee since August of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Gladiators will host the Cougars at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Johns Creek made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Roswell, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Gladiators fell just short of the Hornets by a score of 5-3 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Gladiators have suffered since October 3, 2024.

Johns Creek saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Audrey Lafon, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Meanwhile, Chattahoochee lost 20-3 to Holy Innocents Episcopal on Wednesday.

Chattahoochee's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Johns Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-15.

Johns Creek took their win against Chattahoochee when the teams last played on September 4th by a conclusive 18-3 score. Do the Gladiators have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cougars turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
