Softball Recap: West Forsyth Finds Home Field Redemption Against Cherokee

There's no place like home for West Forsyth, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Cherokee Warriors by a score of 5-1 on Saturday. This was a revenge game for the Wolverines: when they faced off against the Warriors on Wednesday, they had to take a 11-10 defeat.

Elizabeth Bare spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on six hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Maren Moskau, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Sadie Woodruff, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.
