Baseball Recap: Southeast Whitfield County Comes Up Short

Southeast Whitfield County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-0 to the Cartersville Hurricanes, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Hurricanes this season, with their most recent loss being a 15-0 defeat on Monday.

Southeast Whitfield County's loss dropped their record down to 4-23. As for Cartersville, the victory (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 20-7.

Coming up, Southeast Whitfield County will take on Cedartown at 5:55 p.m. on Tuesday. The Raiders are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Cartersville, they are taking a road trip to challenge Dalton at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Catamounts will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Hurricanes surely won't give up without a fight.
