Bloomfield won the last time they faced Miyamura and things went their way on Friday too. The Bobcats really took it to the Patriots for the full four quarters, racking up a 59-18 win. With the Bobcats ahead 40-12 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Manual (Peanut) Chavarria threw for 397 yards and six touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes. Kaleb Huchens was his top target, picking up 172 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. On the ground, Cole Gosnell rushed for 52 yards and one score.

Miyamura's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Benjamin Vidales, who picked up 132 receiving yards and a pair of scores. The team also got some help courtesy of Salid Rashid, who threw for 182 yards and three TDs.

Bloomfield now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Miyamura, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Bloomfield didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 56-0 victory against Kirtland Central on the 12th. As for Miyamura, they have also already played their next contest, a 27-0 win against Rio Grande on the 13th.
