McGill-Toolen waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They came out on top against the St. Pius X Catholic Golden Lions by a score of 2-0. The Yellowjackets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Golden Lions, too.

McGill-Toolen easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-11.

Catherine Mcclain paced McGill-Toolen's offense, picking up nine kills. Mcclain got some help from Alice Wood and her 20 assists.

McGill-Toolen's record is now 15-2. As for St. Pius X Catholic, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-11.
