Basketball Recap: Truckee Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Becca Brown and Sophia Killian

Truckee was the 27-25 winner over Wooster when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Truckee Wolverines received a blow on Friday as they fell 42-26 to the Wooster Colts. The Wolverines just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Truckee's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Sophia Killian, who posted six points, and Becca Brown, who had eight points.

KHLOE GLOVER continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Wooster, putting up 27 points. GLOVER's evening made it six games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. NADIA MONTEJANO was another key player, earning eight points.

Truckee's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Wooster, their win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-11.

Truckee will head out on the road to face off against Sparks at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Truckee is facing Sparks at the right time seeing as Sparks is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Wooster, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hug at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. That match will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: GLOVER and Cori Carrier.
