Softball Recap: Towns County Takes a Loss

Towns County lost against Lincoln County back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Indians lost 9-1 to the Red Devils. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Towns County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alaina Murphy, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Towns County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Lincoln County, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 6-8.

Towns County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 15-3 loss against Commerce on the 15th. As for Lincoln County, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-2 defeat against Briarwood Academy on the 15th.
