Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Loganville Christian Academy). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Piedmont Academy Cougars a 14-0 shutout on Monday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Lions with their most commanding win of the season.

The victory (which was Loganville Christian Academy's third in a row) raised their record to 5-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Piedmont Academy, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Coming up, Loganville Christian Academy will be playing at home against Dacula at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Piedmont Academy, they will venture away from home to challenge Athens Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
