Platteview is 0-10 against Wahoo since September of 2018 but things could change on Thursday. The Trojans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Warriors at 6:30 p.m. Platteview is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.3 runs per game this season.

Platteview took a six-run defeat the last time they faced off against Raymond Central, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Trojans narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Mustangs 9-8. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Trojans as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Paisley Peklo was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She pitched seven innings while giving up three earned (and five unearned) runs off eight hits. Peklo was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one RBI.

In other batting news, Platteview got a massive performance out of Savanna Alloway, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and three runs. Paige Wiederholt was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Wahoo couldn't beat Blue River on Tuesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fifth inning. The Warriors fell 7-4 to Blue River.

Karryn Eddie was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one triple.

Wahoo's loss dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Platteview, their win bumped their record up to 16-9.
