Football Recap: Hinsdale Central Comes Up Short

After soaring to 34 points the game before, Hinsdale Central was a bit more limited in their match on Thursday. They were outmatched by the York Dukes and fell 39-8.

Hinsdale Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for York, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hinsdale Central will face off against rival Lake Park at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, York is set to square off against their familiar foe Oak Park-River Forest at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Dukes 14.1, the Huskies 11.3) so any points scored will be well earned.
