Northwestern came into Friday's game looking for another win against Seneca, but James Burlingham wouldn't allow it. The Bobcats walked away with a 61-50 win over the Wildcats on Friday for which the team can thank Burlingham, who went 8-for-18 on his way to 27 points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

The victory made it two in a row for Seneca and bumps their season record up to 2-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points over those games. As for Northwestern, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Coming up, Seneca will venture away from home to square off against Oil City at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give the Bobcats their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Northwestern, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 76-37 defeat against Corry on the 15th.
