Basketball Recap: Calvary Christian Academy Conquerors vs. Centre County Christian Academy
In what's become a running theme this season, the Calvary Christian Academy Conquerors gave their fans yet another huge victory on Saturday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 49-14 victory over Centre County Christian Academy. While fans of Calvary Christian Academy might be used to big wins, the 35-point margin marked the team's biggest victory yet this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Calvary Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Aubrey Anderson, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 steals. Anderson is crushing the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Macayla Mills, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds.
The win was the fourth in a row for Calvary Christian Academy, bringing their record for this year to 11-2. As for Centre County Christian Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Calvary Christian Academy will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the at 5:30 p.m. Great Commission is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. Centre County Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
