Baseball Recap: Mill Springs Academy Takes a Loss

Mill Springs Academy managed to slip by North Georgia HomeSchool the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Mill Springs Academy came up short against the North Georgia HomeSchool Tribe on Thursday, falling 22-1. Mill Springs Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as North Georgia HomeSchool apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Mill Springs Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for North Georgia HomeSchool, their record is now 3-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mill Springs Academy will square off against Cottage on Wednesday. Mill Springs Academy has given up an average of 13 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for North Georgia HomeSchool, they will take on Covenant Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Covenant Christian Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.6 runs per game this season.
