Soccer Recap: Walker Takes a Loss

Walker fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Landmark Christian on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Landmark Christian War Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Wolverines can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 130th, while the War Eagles are ranked 16th).

Walker's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Landmark Christian, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Walker has already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Atlanta International on the 13th. As for Landmark Christian, they will face off against Mount Paran Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Landmark Christian will be up against Mount Paran Christian's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.86 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
