Rock Canyon and Castle View are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2015, but not for long. The Jaguars will be playing in front of their home fans against the Sabercats at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Rock Canyon is headed into Saturday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight games on Friday. They came up short against Fruita Monument, falling 35-13. The Jaguars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 21-0.

Meanwhile, Castle View fell victim to Valor Christian and their airtight defense on Friday. They were beaten by the Eagles 56-0. The loss continues a trend for the Sabercats in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost eight in a row.

Castle View now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Rock Canyon, they now also have a losing record of 3-4.

Rock Canyon and Castle View were almost perfectly matched up when the teams last played back in October of 2024, but Rock Canyon suffered an agonizing 23-22 defeat. Thankfully for the Jaguars, Camden Tobler (who rushed for 110 yards and one TD, and also picked up 30 receiving yards) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
