Soccer Recap: Kewanee Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Kewanee was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Macomb Bombers.

Kewanee's goal came courtesy of Jackson Price, who's now up to two this season.

Kewanee has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9-2 record this season. Macomb's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kewanee will welcome Riverdale at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Kewanee will be up against Riverdale's rather soft defense (which has allowed four goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Macomb, they will face off against Monmouth-Roseville at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
