Softball Preview: Hebron Christian Lions vs. Collins Hill Eagles
The Hebron Christian Lions will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Collins Hill Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hebron Christian will be strutting in after a victory while Collins Hill will be coming in after a defeat.
Hebron Christian is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Dawson County. The Lions narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Tigers 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Lions have posted since September 14, 2024.

Hebron Christian got a great performance from Kate Kennedy as she tossed 6.1 innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. The dominant performance also gave Kennedy a new career-high in strikeouts (five).
At the plate, Juls Huber and Leah Jensen did most of the damage at the plate: Huber went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI, while Jensen went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
