Baseball Recap: Franklin Towne Victorious

Franklin Towne let MAST Community Charter stack four runs on them in the seventh inning on Monday but luckily Franklin Towne prevailed anyway. The Warriors narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Panthers 8-7. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

Daniel LaSalle looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over four innings pitched. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Franklin Towne is 3-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 1-2 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Jayden Ocasio was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Franklin Towne now has a winning record of 4-3. As for MAST Community Charter, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Franklin Towne didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 18-8 win against MAST Charter II on the 15th. As for MAST Community Charter, they have also already played their next game, a 7-5 victory against Collegium Charter on the 15th.
