Softball Game Preview: Polytechnic Panthers vs. Temple City Rams

The Polytechnic Panthers will be taking part in a tournament against the Temple City Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Polytechnic saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of Covina. The loss put an end to the Panthers' undefeated start to the season.

Brynn Connolly made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs and one triple. Another player making a difference was Eila Chan, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Temple City came up short against Northview on Saturday, falling 11-4. The defeat continues a trend for the Rams in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost four in a row.

Temple City's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Polytechnic, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
