Basketball Recap: Lowndes Takes a Loss

Lowndes has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 45-43 heartbreaker at the hands of the Camden County Wildcats. The Vikings were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 54-35.

Camden County got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Mahliya Reeder out in front who posted 12 points and eight steals. What's more, Reeder also posted a 43% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Dasmine N Cooper, who earned three points in addition to nine rebounds and seven steals.

Lowndes' defeat dropped their record down to 18-5. As for Camden County, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-6.

As of now, neither Lowndes nor Camden County have any future games scheduled.
