Baseball Recap: Eastmark Comes Up Short

Eastmark was the 4-1 winner over Douglas when they last played one another back in April of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Firebirds lost 13-6 to the Bulldogs on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Firebirds have suffered since March 26th.

Bryce Fejfar led a balanced group of hitters, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one triple. Gaige Cook also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Eastmark has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 16 of their last 19 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-21 record this season. As for Douglas, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-8.

As of now, neither Eastmark nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
