Soccer Recap: Newberg Comes Up Short

Newberg lost against Sherwood back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Tigers fell just short of the Bowmen by a score of 1-0.

Newberg's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3-3. As for Sherwood, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 3-4-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Newberg will challenge rival McMinnville at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Sherwood is set to square off against their familiar foe Forest Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
