Volleyball Recap: East Jackson Takes a Loss + How To Watch

East Jackson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hebron Christian Lions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-14.

Moore Emilou paced East Jackson's offense, picking up four kills. Emilou got some help from Julia Zeliski and her eight assists.

East Jackson's defeat dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Hebron Christian, the victory (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 22-2.

East Jackson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Hart County on the 11th. As for Hebron Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against J.I. Burton on the 12th.
