Hillcrest won the last time they faced Oak Mountain and things went their way on Friday too. The Patriots came out on top in a nail-biter against the Eagles, sneaking past 25-23.

Jordan Shambley produced another solid effort rushing for 92 yards and one TD, while also throwing for 104 yards and one touchdown. Those 92 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Despite the loss, Oak Mountain had strong showings from Charlie Vacarella, who threw for 254 yards and three touchdowns, and Kasen Lemons, who picked up 158 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Hillcrest's record is now 6-4. As for Oak Mountain, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Hillcrest does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oak Mountain, they will square off against Chelsea at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. That matchup will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Marty Myricks and Chase Malone.
