Football Game Preview: Savanna Rebels vs. Godinez Fundamental Grizzlies + Official Tickets

The Savanna Rebels will head out to take on the Godinez Fundamental Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Savanna has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since August 29.

Savanna came up short against Century on Friday, falling 34-13.

Although Savanna took the loss, they still got scores from Julian Martinez and Bentley Cruz.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Godinez Fundamental, who bounced back after a loss on the road on October 3rd. They came out on top against Magnolia by a score of 20-8 on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Grizzlies in their matchups with the Sentinels: they've now won three in a row.

Savanna better keep an eye on Damian Navarro. He was instrumental in Godinez Fundamental's win, rushing for 71 yards and a pair of scores on only ten carries.

Godinez Fundamental's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Savanna, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.

Savanna ended up a good deal behind Godinez Fundamental when the teams last played back in October of 2024, losing 36-18. Can the Rebels avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
