After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Coatesville, Avon Grove was happy to have turned things around on Friday. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 29-28 victory over the Unionville Longhorns. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Red Devils as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Avon Grove picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-5. As for Unionville, they suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 4-3.
