Soccer Recap: Waterford Comes Up Short

Waterford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat. They came up short against the Denair Coyotes, falling 6-0. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 back in December of 2024.

Waterford's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Denair, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5-1 record this season.

Waterford wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 1-0 defeat against Stone Ridge Christian on the 23rd. As for Denair, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Gustine on the 21st.
