Softball Recap: West Forsyth Comes Up Short

West Forsyth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Forsyth Central Bulldogs, falling 9-1. The Wolverines were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Sara Coleman was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run.

West Forsyth's record now sits at 13-15. As for Forsyth Central, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-19-1.

While West Forsyth had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
