Soccer Game Preview: Highland vs. Johnstown-Monroe

The Highland Fighting Scots will venture away from home to face off against the Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Highland is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

On Saturday, Highland didn't have quite enough to beat Northridge and fell 3-2. One reason for the loss might be Highland's aggressive play style: Coleman Chamberlain and Atticus Wilson were both handed yellow cards.

Christian Mason and Wilson scored both of Highland's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 16 goals.

Meanwhile, Johnstown-Monroe fell victim to Zanesville and their airtight defense on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Devils.

Highland's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Johnstown-Monroe, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7-1.
