Football Recap: McDonough Comes Up Short + How To Watch

McDonough was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lackey Chargers. The Rams lost against the Chargers in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 48-7 score last time.

McDonough's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Lackey, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-4.

Coming up, McDonough will take on La Plata at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Rams will be up against the Warriors' rather soft defense (which has allowed 44.43 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Lackey, they will challenge Great Mills at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Chargers will need to watch out since the Hornets have now posted at least 31 points in their last three contests.
