Flintridge Prep has gone 10-0 against Rio Hondo Prep recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Flintridge Prep Wolves will venture away from home to take on the Rio Hondo Prep Kares at 4:30 p.m. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Flintridge Prep sitting on eight straight wins and Rio Hondo Prep on five.

Flintridge Prep is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Polytechnic: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Flintridge Prep blew Polytechnic out of the water with a 67-38 final score. The Wolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 29 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rio Hondo Prep). They really took it to Mayfield for the full four quarters, racking up a 74-44 victory. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Kares just coasted through the last quarter.

Flintridge Prep better keep an eye on TARA RILEY. She was instrumental in Rio Hondo Prep's win, dropping a double-double on 20 points and ten boards. RILEY's evening made it 14 games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. BRYCE JOHNSON was another key player, going 7 for 10 en route to 19 points.

Rio Hondo Prep is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points per game. As for Flintridge Prep, their win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-1.

Flintridge Prep took their victory against Rio Hondo Prep in their previous meeting back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 61-35. Will Flintridge Prep repeat their success, or does Rio Hondo Prep have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
