Basketball Recap: San Gabriel Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Southwestern Academy on December 11th, San Gabriel Academy came back down to earth. The San Gabriel Academy Eagles were beaten by the Sacramento Adventist Capitals 49-22 on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 62-35 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2019.

San Gabriel Academy now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Sacramento Adventist, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

It'll be Battle of the Birds when the San Gabriel Academy Eagles duke it out with the Escondido Adventist Academy Hawks at 12:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Sacramento Adventist, they will be taking part in a tournament against Newbury Park Adventist at 12:30 p.m. on Monday.
