Softball Recap: Ord Takes a Loss

Ord was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 13-5 to the Fort Calhoun Pioneers.

Allison Wheeler was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs. Another player making a difference was Elle Jess, who went 1-for-2 with one home run.

Ord's defeat dropped their record down to 6-26. As for Fort Calhoun, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 18-5.

Ord does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fort Calhoun, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-0 win against Tekamah-Herman on the 7th.
