Columbia's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against the Stone Mountain Pirates by a score of 8-3. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Pirates recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Columbia got a big performance out of Damarion Davis, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. That triple was Davis' first of the season. Jerimiah Combs was another key player, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-1.

Columbia was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Columbia's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Stone Mountain, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Columbia will square off against Towers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Stone Mountain, they will face off against Mt. Zion at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup will give Mt. Zion their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
