Volleyball Recap: Skyline Takes a Loss

Skyline was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Mountain View Toros. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Toros this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-7, 25-7.

Skyline's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Mountain View, they pushed their record up to 12-4 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Skyline will challenge rival Mesa at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Mountain View is set to face off against their familiar foe Red Mountain at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
