Softball Recap: Elbert County Wins Going Away Against Hart County

Elbert County came out on top against Hart County on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run third inning. The Blue Devils were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Bulldogs. Considering the Blue Devils have won six matchups by more than seven runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Elbert County and bumps their season record up to 7-2. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Hart County, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-6.

Looking ahead, Elbert County will welcome Rabun County at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hart County, they are taking a road trip to square off against Franklin County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs will need to watch out since the Lions have now posted at least ten runs in their last four games.
