Baseball Recap: Seminole County Takes a Loss

Seminole County lost to Miller County on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Indians lost 17-7 to the Pirates. The defeat leaves the Indians still looking for their first win of the season.

Seminole County saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jarrod Milton, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one double. Jamon Saffold was another, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Seminole County's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Miller County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Seminole County will take on rival Southwest Georgia STEM Charter at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Miller County is set to square off against their familiar foe Pelham at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
