Bucklin gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 65-21 victory over the Macksville Mustangs. The Red Aces haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Macksville's loss came despite strong showings from Daniela Reyes and Heidy Ortiz. Reyes posted 11 points, while Ortiz put up no points.

Bucklin and Macksville will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Red Aces will face off against rival Spearville at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Macksville is set to take on their familiar foe Ness City at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
