Football Recap: Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Comes Up Short

After flying high against Lakeview last Friday, Russell-Tyler-Ruthton came back down to earth. The Knights were outmatched by the Murray County Central Rebels and fell 44-12. The Knights were not able to make up for their defeat to the Rebels from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, Russell-Tyler-Ruthton fell to 3-1. As for Murray County Central, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-2.

Coming up, Russell-Tyler-Ruthton will take on Tracy-Milroy-Balaton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Murray County Central, they will challenge Lac qui Parle Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
